Okay.... so my life lacks a certain drama that makes me terribly interesting... but i'll tell you about it anyway...
As you should know by reading the previous post, my boyfriend stayed out all night.. so instead of being the bitch that i normally am, having no phone and all for him to call, i went on with my day. I walked to my grandma's, called my mom, she took like 10 min off work and picked me up so i could use her car... Emilee and I went uptown, it was okay... not much for kids her age to do--she's just a toddler after all.. we threw some velcro balls onto a foam target, we went "trick-or-treating" to some of the stores. I feel incredibly odd going up and being like "trick-or-treat" for her... she said "thank you" somtimes, and waved and said "bye"-that's her thing-she's good with good-byes *grin* After that we went to the park, and she had fun chasing a little girl around and doing what she was doing... then I mosied on over to my dad's house. She loves goign over there because he has cats, she got a kick out of feeding his oldest cat Cheerio's--she laughed for like 20 min... good times...
I didn't have a too terribly exciting evening, Shaun and I watched the first game of the World Series--Cards fans of course....we watched the first few innings, went to Walmart-and thanks to XM radio on display, he got to keep up with the score (one thing I love about him.... at least I know ONE thing he loves). We were there for a LOOONG time though... we didn't get home until right before 11pm. Janel came over and we picked up Chelsi-my little sister-from her Homecoming dance, and we all came back, just sat around and talked
I love that about Janel--couldn't live w/o her.
Okay... I'm not that old-22-and when I went to pick up my sister from her dance, I couldn't BELIEVE it... there were about 10 cop cars there-people fighting... wow... what 4 years does to a High School. I don't understand why people have to be so stupid, can't get along, argue about such ignorant things... It makes me think of what kind of high school experience my little girl will get to have, nothing like what i had, kinda sad. Mine by no means was great, but I didn't have to worry about being shot or stabbed by some angry kid either...
Today Janel and I are going to get our Breaking Benjamin tickets--we're excited
That's all I can think to put... i'll write more tonight/tomorrow...
Smile, be happy, and love--Heather
